Simon Lebus currently has a portfolio of non-executive and advisory roles with various companies, mainly specialising in education technology and online learning. Prior to this he spent sixteen years running the Assessment side of what is now Cambridge University Press and Assessment, and has also had earlier career incarnations as an investment banker and with a food manufacturing business. In 2021 he served as Interim Chief Regulator at Ofqual, with responsibility for stewarding the public exam system through the second year of Covid. HE was awarded a CBE for services to educational assessment in the 2023 King’s Birthday Honours list.
